I directed the animation videos of the Herculano Pires gallery at Itaú Cultural. The new permanent exhibition, on the sixth floor of the Avenida Paulista building, has free entrance and features historical Brazilian artwork such as coins, medals and stamps.
The animations invite each visitor into a deep and appealing dive, exploring all aspects from the objects' crafting techniques to their relationship with mythology, power and the colonial struggles in Brazil.
My work involved directing and creating all the animations for the videos, as well as collaborating with the scripts, storyboards and illustrations. Production: Birdo Studio - Luciana Eguti and Paulo Muppet
Fui responsável pela direção dos vídeos de animação do espaço Herculano Pires do Itaú Cultural. A nova exposição permanente, inaugurada no sexto andar do prédio na Avenida Paulista, tem entrada gratuita e traz obras históricas brasileiras como moedas, medalhas e selos.
As animações convidam cada visitante para um mergulho profundo e atrativo, explorando desde as técnicas de feitura dos objetos até a relação com a mitologia, o poder e as lutas coloniais no Brasil.
Meu trabalho envolveu dirigir e criar todas as animações dos vídeos do espaço, além de colaborar com os roteiros, storyboards e ilustrações. Produção: Birdo Studio - Luciana Eguti e Paulo Muppet
